Babars
These are by far my most favourite treat. They are so incredibly good that I could literally eat an entire batch in one sitting. The ingredients are a little wacky but the combination is awesome. Okay enough ranting about how much I like them, here is the recipe.
Babars
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1 cup Butterscotch Chips
1 cup Peanut butter Chips
3/4 of a bag of Ruffled Potato Chips, crushed.
30 cupcake liners
In a pot, melt chocolate, butterscotch, and peanut butter chips over medium heat. While the chips are melting, remove a 1/4 of the chips for snacking later. Close the bag with the rest of the chips and crush them - it's more fun then it should be but don't go overboard, you want crushed but not annihilated.
Once the chips have completely melted and mixed, dump the crushed potato chips into the pot. Turn off the heat and mix the chips through until coated.
In cupcake liners on a cookie tray, place 1/4 cup of the mixture into each liner. Set aside to cool.
Now just try to eat a reasonable amount!
PS: For those of you wondering where the name came from: the recipe comes from my good friend Sandi who didn't get a name for them when she got the recipe from someone else. I decide to name them Babars on whim and it stuck! Why I came up with the name Babars is beyond me....
