Cora

This week has been all about eating at my favourite places! I met some of my best ladies for breakfast today at Cora.

This place is the dedication and hard work of Cora Mussely Tsouflido, a single mother of 3 who turned a little Quebec snack shop into a 120 restaurant chain (and counting!) across Canada and the USA. The restaurant is known for it's pencil crayon sketches of the menu posted on the walls and the heaping amouts of fruit offered with each dish! This place really feels like a ray of sunshine - it's always bright, happy and buzzing.

I love this place because unlike a lot of diners and other restaurants that serve breakfast, I always leave feeling full but not bogged down with grease. My favourite thing to order is one of their refreshing smoothies (usually I go with the special but they are all fruity, tangy and very satisfying) and the Sunshine Panini-Crepe with a side of hollandaise. The panini crepe is eggs, ham, and a crepe all wrapped into one delicious roll, with a heaping pile of fresh fruit (kiwi, strawberry, banana, grapes, melon - the works!).  It's always cooked just right, and satisfies my love for both eggs and fruit. I've tried many other things off the menu, like Waffles (amazing!) and the Eggs Ben and Dictine (also amazing!), and have never been disappointed! The have a lunch menu as well, and although I haven't personally been able to check it out, I've heard great things!

So don't let the constant crowds that occur at Cora deter you and go check it out!
